The Hateno School was founded in Hateno Village by Zelda as part of reconstruction efforts in Hyrule.[2] Bolson was commissioned to construct the School itself, which was his final job in the Village.[3] Zelda appointed Symin as the School's teacher, believing his experience as Purah's assistant gave him the experience to do so.[4] Prior to the Upheaval, Zelda observed the classroom, which resulted in many of the children becoming close to her.[5]

The School Notes can be found on the second floor of the Hateno School.
