This article is about the Fossil of a Giant Leviathan. For the Cave it is housed in, see Hebra Great Skeleton.

The Hebra Great Skeleton,(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom)[1][2] also known as the Leviathan in Hebra,(TotKTears of the Kingdom)[3] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Hebra Great Skeleton is located in the Hebra Mountains in the Ice Cave. It is one of the three remaining skeletons of the now-extinct Leviathans. Link must take a picture of the remains for the "Leviathan Bones" Side Quest.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Hebra Great Skeleton remains where it was in Breath of the Wild and is the subject of the Side Quest "Hebra's Colossal Fossil". After Link completes the previous Side Quest, "Eldin's Colossal Fossil", Loone travels to the Ice Cave to see the Leviathan for herself. However, its skeleton is missing two large pieces, which she will lament if Link speaks to her.[4]

The missing piece of its spine can be found frozen in a giant chunk of Ice, and the missing Fin Bone is stuck inside a large patch of breakable Rock. Link can piece the remains back together to complete the Side Quest.[5]

Two Koroks are hidden inside the skeleton's eye sockets.
