Hero's Path Mode is a recurring mode in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Overview
Breath of the Wild
Hero's Path Mode tracks every step Link has taken during the last 200 hours.[3] This path appears on the Map as a green line that follows Link's steps. The process can be sped up, paused, and skipped.
Upon obtaining The Master Trials and opening the Sheikah Slate's Map, a notice will appear informing Link that Hero's Path Mode has been unlocked.[1]
