"Hestu's Concerns" is a Side Adventure in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]

Overview

There are three ways to begin this Side Adventure, depending on progression in other parts of the story.

If Link has not completed "Tulin of Rito Village", "Yunobo of Goron City", "Sidon of the Zora", "Riju of Gerudo Town", or freed the Great Deku Tree from Phantom Ganon, Hestu can be found at Lindor's Brow, near the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower, cowering in fear from a group of "scary trees". Speaking to him will initiate the first stage of the Side Adventure, where the Evermeans must be defeated. Defeating them then progresses to the second stage, where Hestu is in need of a Korok Seed for his Maracas.

If Link has completed at least one of "Tulin of Rito Village", "Yunobo of Goron City", "Sidon of the Zora", or "Riju of Gerudo Town" but not freed the Great Deku Tree, Hestu can be found at various spots around Lookout Landing. If the Side Adventure was not already completed at Lindor's Brow, speaking to Hestu will begin the Side Adventure at the second stage, where he requests a Korok Seed.

When Link has freed the Great Deku Tree from Phantom Ganon, Hestu will then remain in Korok Forest. If the Side Adventure was not already completed at Lindor's Brow or Lookout Landing, speaking to Hestu will begin the Side Adventure at the second stage where he requests a Korok Seed.

In any case, the Side Adventure is completed upon giving Hestu one Korok Seed in exchange for expanding an Inventory slot. At Lindor's Brow, he will let Link trade Korok Seeds for one more upgrade before leaving, and at Lookout Landing or Korok Forest he will remain to provide as many upgrades as Link can exchange for.

Objectives

Stage Description
1 You ran into the Korok Hestu at the foot of Lindor's Brow. He's afraid of something and has stopped in his tracks.

There are trees where he pointed, but what could he be so afraid of?
2 Hestu lost the Korok seeds that were in his maracas. It sounds like it may have been the children of the forest who took them.

If you collect Korok seeds and bring them to Hestu, he says he will help you by expanding your inventory.
Complete You gave Hestu a Korok seed. As thanks, he sang and danced to expand your inventory.

He also told you that if you bring him more Korok seeds in the future, he will continue to expand your inventory.
