The Hidden Ruins are located in the southeast section of the Faron Wetlands, along the path west of Blossu's House. They are hidden beneath a Statue of a Deku Scrub. This Statue will only move once the two Braziers south of its entrance have been lit.
Inside the Ruins, there is only a single Treasure Chest. However, after Princess Zelda begins the "Cotton-Candy Hunt" Side Quest, the debris blocking the rest of the Ruins disappear, allowing exploration further inside. The interior section of the Ruins merge designs from the Eastern Temple with the Faron Temple as a combination of Sparks and Web-slinging Enemies can be found throughout, heavily hindering Zelda's movement. The yellow boxes from the Eastern Temple reappear, requiring Zelda to place Sparks inside them in order to advance.
Upon reaching the end of the Hidden Ruins, Zelda will encounter Smog for a second time. Smog demands a rematch with her, claiming that it has been training for the day they met again.[2] After it is defeated, it will concede defeat and leave behind 75 Rupees, two Monster Stones, and a Piece of Heart.[3] A blue Warp Point will also appear at the center of the side-scrolling chamber to return Zelda to the entrance of the Ruins.
