Hylian Monoliths are Objects in A Link to the Past.[1]
Location and Uses
Hylian Monoliths are large, green slabs inscribed with ancient Hylian text. They may only be read with the use of the Book of Mudora.
One is located on a cliff at the edge of the Desert of Mystery, and yields Link the Bombos Medallion when translated. Another is found on Death Mountain, and makes the Ether Medallion appear when read. Both Hylian Monoliths crumble apart once their respective Magic Medallion has been collected.
