Descriptionshide ▲
A Soothing Place
In addition to protecting the castle, it has become necessary to deploy our soldiers all across Hyrule. Outpost ruins are being temporarily used as military bases. The fountain at the center of Hyrule Garrison looks quite out of place, but it serves as an area of respite for the soldiers.

Related Quests

The Hyrule Garrison Ruins are located in Hyrule Field. They were formerly ruins of an outpost that Hyrule Kingdom adapted into a military base known as the Hyrule Outpost in preparation for the Great Calamity to come.[3] However, as they could not predict that Calamity Ganon would wrest control of the Guardians away from them, the Hyrule Garrison was again destroyed.[4] Some Fallen Guardians can be found around the Ruins and can be searched for Ancient Materials. Similarly, a Busted Wagon can be found on the southeast side of the Ruins, which can also be searched for Materials.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Hyrule Garrison Ruins remain occupied by Monsters in Tears of the Kingdom. The Central Tower is now gone, and the Susuyai Shrine now sits near where it was. Despite its population of Monsters, people still travel along the roads that pass through the Ruins.

Along the southeastern road of the Ruins, Link can find Hyrule Restoration Materials as well as a Busted Wagon that can be searched for Materials. West of the fountain area, the Monsters have constructed a Monster Stronghold. This Stronghold is fortified with Barricades and Bomb Barrels. A lit Cooking Pot can be found beneath this Stronghold. Between this Stronghold and the Susuyai Shrine, more Hyrule Restoration Materials can be found.

Following the defeat of Calamity Ganon, Zelda visited the fountain in the Ruins to examine the damage done to it by the Guardian attacks. In the "Unshaken Bravery" Voice Memory, she remarks that most of the Soldiers that were posted here were deployed to help in other regions.[5] She believes that the Soldiers who remained fought bravely against the assault, but ultimately could not repel the invading force.[5]
