The Jail Maze is a location in The Wind Waker.(TWW)[1] The Jail Maze goes unnamed in The Wind Waker HD.

Features and Overview

The Jail Maze is a series of sprawling tunnels connecting to the Jail. By moving a Wooden Box found in the in the Jail's cell after freeing Tingle, Link finds a Small Hole that he can crawl into. At the end of the Jail Maze, Link can find a circular room with a Treasure Chest containing the Picto Box as well as two Stone Tablets with messages from the culprit who originally stole it; one explaining their story,[2] and the other explaining the controls of the Picto Box.[3]

A total of three Blue Rupees can be found in the Jail Maze. Additionally, special Rats are stationed at various parts of the Maze, often just around corners and out of Link's view. If Link approaches them, they will ring their Bells, causing Trapdoors underneath Link to give way, dropping him out of the Jail Maze into the waters surrounding Windfall Island.
