Biography

Breath of the Wild

Jogo is a Hylian man visiting Rito Village alongside his wife, Juney, for their honeymoon.[1] The two of them are staying at the Swallow's Roost, where he can be found throughout the day. He wears a Snowquill Tunic and a pair of Snowquill Trousers.

When Link first approaches Jogo, he asks if he has also come to stay in Rito Village.[5] He is relieved to meet someone else who appreciates the town, admitting that he appreciates its simplicity.[6] However, he regrets choosing it for his honeymoon, since Juney has been complaining about the cold and lack of activities.[7] He fears that she will divorce him if he is unable to make amends with her.[8]

In order to make Juney happy, Jogo needs to make her Baked Apples.[9] Unfortunately, he does not have the Flint he would need to start a Fire.[10] Once he finishes speaking, "The Spark of Romance" Side Quest will begin.

If Link speaks to Jogo with some Flint in his Inventory, Jogo will be able to smell it.[11] He then asks Link if he would sell it to him.[12] If Link agrees, Jogo will give him a Silver Rupee as payment.[13] He is happy to be able to make Baked Apples for Juney.[14] Since he will need to make more Baked Apples in the future, he asks Link to bring him Flint.[15] After this, the Side Quest will be completed.

Link can continue to sell Flint to Jogo so long as he has at least one in his Inventory. Depending on how many pieces of Flint Link has, Jogo will buy them in groups of one,[12] five,[16] 10,[17] 30,[18] 50,[19] or 100.[20]

5 30
10 70
30 250
50 500
100 1200

If Link does not have any Flint, Jogo will thank him for selling before.[21] He repeats his claim that he needs more Flint to make for Baked Apples, explaining that Juney is obsessed with them.[22] He believes that his ability to make them is the only reason she does not divorce him.[23] He then reiterates his desire to pay Link for any Flint he brings him.[24]

Tears of the Kingdom

Jogo is a Hylian man found in the Hebra region alongside his wife, Yammo,[2] as the pair hides from Bokoblins within a cabin, refusing to come out until the sounds of the Monsters disappear. Once the monsters have been defeated by Link the pair offers him advice for Shield Surfing.[citation needed]
