Julietta is a character in The Minish Cap.[2]

Biography

Julietta lives on the eastern side of Hyrule Town, south of the Happy Hearth Inn, in a blue House. Her house is connected with Romio's by a small board that Minish can walk across.

She is first seen with Romio during the Picori Festival, standing near Hyrule Town Square; she complains about Romio's interest in the Minish, believing them to be a myth.[4] After Link obtains the Kinstone Bag, Julietta can be found inside her House, where she writes a letter to Romio and brushes off any attempts at conversation.[5]

While attempting to locate Librari in the Royal Hyrule Library, Link is tasked with retrieving overdue Library Books, one of which is in the possession of Julietta. If Link enters her House during this time, there will be a note on her table addressed to Verona, her mother, stating that she is currently at Romio's House.[6] If Link walks to the center of her house, Ezlo will point out the Book on top of her bookshelves and state that the Book cannot be knocked down by ramming into it.[7] If Link speaks to Julietta directly, she will commend Link for being a dedicated librarian but will ask him to retrieve it in her stead.[8]

If Link speaks to Rolf while Minish-sized, he will complain about the heat produced by the fireplace and the fact that there are more people in his house, adding to the heat.[9] In order to reach Julietta's house while Minish-sized, Link must douse the flames in the fireplace with Water from an Empty Bottle,[3] revealing a pathway to the roof where Link can walk across the beam connecting the two houses.

From inside Julietta's house, Link must make his way up onto the top of the bookshelf while avoiding Scratcher, her Cat. Ezlo warns Link of the Cat, claiming that it looked at him as if it wanted to eat him.[10] Once Link makes it past Scratcher, Ezlo will exclaim in relief.[11] To retrieve the Book, Link must climb the small staircase leading to the top of the bookshelves, push the Book off, and return as while regularly sized to claim it.[12]

If Julietta is spoken to after returning A Hyrulean Bestiary, she will thank Link.[13] As the game progresses, she notes the strange behavior of King Daltus, but believes it irrelevant to her and Romio.[14] She remains in Romio's House until Link sees the spirit of Gustaf at Lake Hylia, whereupon she returns to her own home.

Julietta is one of the potential characters to have a random Kinstone Fusion available.[15]
