King Zora's Throne Room,(OoTOcarina of Time)[1] also known as King Zora's Chamber,(OoTOcarina of Time)[2] and the King's Hall,(HWHyrule Warriors)[3] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.

Features and Overview

Ocarina of Time

King Zora's Throne Room is located in Zora's Domain. King Zora sits on his Throne within, protecting the entrance to Zora's Fountain and Lord Jabu-Jabu.[4][5] Any visitors to Zora's Domain seeking counsel with King Zora must visit the raised platform at the center of the Throne Room to speak with him. In pursuit of the Zora's Sapphire, Ganondorf visited King Zora's Throne Room and made his way to Lord Jabu-Jabu in order to infect the Zora deity with a deadly parasite.[6] After Link rescues Princess Ruto from Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly and kills the parasite, Barinade, Princess Ruto will take her place beside her father in the Throne Room.

In the Adult Era, Ganondorf caused the waters of Zora's Domain to freeze over, consequently trapping King Zora in a formation of Red Ice inside his Throne Room. If Link defrosts him, he will offer Link a Zora Tunic as thanks.[7] If Link already has a Zora Tunic, King Zora will off him a kiss instead.[8]

The following section is not part of the Zelda canon and should not be taken as such.

The King's Hall is a Keep in the Lake Hylia Stage. Being part of frozen Zora's Domain, it features Ice all over its rocky floor and walls. It has two entrances, one on its west side and another on its south. Both entrances feature metal Gates with the Crest of the Zora emblazoned on them. A Sign sits next to the south Gate. Overlooking the north section of the Hall is King Zora's Throne, inaccessible to the Warriors. A frozen passage can be seen behind it.

During the Ocarina of Time Scenario "The Water Temple", the King's Hall is the only Keep initially owned by the Warriors and is where they begin the Scenario. It is guarded by Goron Soldiers serving under the Hyrulean Forces.

Oh, that's not good. Everybody who comes around here should see Lord Jabu-Jabu at least once! Zora's Fountain is just beyond King Zora's throne. That is where Lord Jabu-Jabu swims. But...unless you have King Zora's permission, you can't go to Zora's Fountain.

  6. Ho, this letter! It's from Princess Ruto! Hmmm... Let's see... She's inside Lord Jabu-Jabu? That's not possible! Our guardian god, Lord Jabu-Jabu, would never eat my dear Princess Ruto! But since that stranger, Ganondorf, came here, Lord Jabu-Jabu has been a little green around the gills... The evidence seems clear. Of course, you'll go find Ruto. You can pass through here to the altar of Lord Jabu-Jabu. I'll keep this letter. You keep the bottle it was in. Take it respectfully! — Zora (Ocarina of Time 3D)
