King Zora's Throne Room is located in Zora's Domain. King Zora sits on his Throne within, protecting the entrance to Zora's Fountain and Lord Jabu-Jabu.[6][7] Any visitors to Zora's Domain seeking counsel with King Zora must visit the raised platform at the center of the Throne Room to speak with him. In pursuit of the Zora's Sapphire, Ganondorf visited King Zora's Throne Room and made his way to Lord Jabu-Jabu in order to infect the Zora deity with a deadly parasite.[8] After Link rescues Princess Ruto from Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly and kills the parasite, Barinade, Princess Ruto will take her place beside her father in the Throne Room.
In the Adult Era, Ganondorf caused the waters of Zora's Domain to freeze over, consequently trapping King Zora in a formation of Red Ice inside his Throne Room. If Link defrosts him, he will offer Link a Zora Tunic as thanks.[9] If Link already has a Zora Tunic, King Zora will off him a kiss instead.[10]
Link first enters the Throne Room at the behest of Sidon.[12] There, he meets Muzu and King Dorephan, the latter of whom recognizes him as the HylianChampion.[13] He tells Link about the troubles that Zora's Domain is facing because of Divine Beast Vah Ruta, asking him to work with Sidon to quell its rampage.[14] As a show of his faith, King Dorephan gifts Link the Zora Armor.[15] Angered by this, Muzu storms out of the Throne Room.[16] Sidon will follow him in the hopes that he can change his mind.[17] After Sidon leaves, King Dorephan sends Link after them both.[18]
Sidon shaking Link's hand
After Link has calmed Divine Beast Vah Ruta, all of the Zora will gather in the Throne Room to congratulate him.[19] As a reward, King Dorephan allows Link to take the contents of the Stone Chest nearby, which he claims was an Item cherished by Mipha.[20] In the Chest, Link will find the Lightscale Trident. On behalf of all the Zora, King Dorephan thanks Link and Sidon.[21] Sidon himself thanks Link, shaking his hand and cheering for him along with the rest of the Zora.[22]

As in Breath of the Wild, the Throne Room sits at the highest level of Zora's Domain. When Link first arrives to the Domain, both King Dorephan and Sidon are absent from the Throne Room. Tula and Torfeau stand guard over its entrance while three Zora children play inside.

The King's Hall, known as the Mine Keep in Adventure ModeBattles, is a Keep at the northeast corner of the Lake HyliaStage. Being part of frozen Zora's Domain, it features Ice all over its rocky floor and walls. It has two entrances, one on its west side and another on its south. Both feature metal Gates with the Crest of the Zora emblazoned on them. A Sign sits next to the south Gate. Overlooking the north section of the Hall is King Zora's Throne, inaccessible to the Warriors. A frozen passage can be seen behind it.

The Throne Room in Zora's Domain first appears the beginning of the Movie "The Looming Threat", wherein Zelda meets with King Dorephan. Dorephan refuses her request to recruit Mipha to pilot Divine Beast Vah Ruta, as he does not wish to risk her life when the knight wielding the Master Sword has yet to appear.[25] However, their discussion ends early when a Zora Soldier arrives with news of a Monster attack.[26][27] Later, during the Movie "Mipha's Wishes", another audience is held in the Throne Room. Having seen Mipha's power when piloting Vah Ruta, King Dorephan gives her permission to become a Champion.[28][29]
In the Zora's Domain Stage, Warriors are capable of approaching the Throne Room, though its entrances are blocked by fences.
↑The leader of the pack, Bazz... The heroine, Gaddison... And my father, Trello... They have all aged quite a bit, I'm afraid. But they are all doing well. Oh... But, Master Link, you probably shouldn't speak to the elderly. Oops! Sorry for keeping you too long. You have business in the throne room, right? Please proceed there at your earliest convenience. — Rivan (Breath of the Wild)
↑King Zora's Throne Room To hear the king's royal proclamations, stand on the platform and speak to him. — Sign (Ocarina of Time 3D)
↑No Oh, that's not good. Everybody who comes around here should see Lord Jabu-Jabu at least once! Zora's Fountain is just beyond King Zora's throne. That is where Lord Jabu-Jabu swims. But...unless you have King Zora's permission, you can't go to Zora's Fountain. — Zora (Ocarina of Time 3D)
↑Ho, this letter! It's from Princess Ruto! Hmmm... Let's see... She's inside Lord Jabu-Jabu? That's not possible! Our guardian god, Lord Jabu-Jabu, would never eat my dear Princess Ruto! But since that stranger, Ganondorf, came here, Lord Jabu-Jabu has been a little green around the gills... The evidence seems clear. Of course, you'll go find Ruto. You can pass through here to the altar of Lord Jabu-Jabu. I'll keep this letter. You keep the bottle it was in. Take it respectfully! — Zora (Ocarina of Time 3D)
↑Oh—I've come back to life! Was it you who saved me? Don't be nervous! It looks like you have a hard time breathing underwater. As an expression of my gratitude, I grant you this tunic. With this, you won't choke underwater. — King Zora (Ocarina of Time 3D)
↑Ohhh, I'm revived... Was it you who saved me? Don't be so nervous! I will give you a Zora Tunic as a token of my thanks. If you have this, you can... What?! You already have one? You're ready for anything, aren't you! With my heartfelt thanks...how about a KISS?! What? You don't want it?! Oh well... If you don't want my rewards, you can listen to my troubles... Princess Ruto has gone to Lake Hylia and has not come back... I'm so worried...again! — King Zora (Ocarina of Time 3D)
King Dorephan rules over the Zora and is father to Mipha. He's known for his incredible strength—in fact, he fights with his fins rather than wielding a weapon. One of the guards here even told me excitedly about an army of monsters who were eradicated with a single blow from the king." — (Zelda Notes, US, June 5, 2025)
↑Welcome! Behold the pride of my people, Zora's Domain! Now I shall introduce you to the king. Hurry, this way! — Sidon (Breath of the Wild)
↑HMMM?! Now that I have gotten a good look at you, it is all too clear who you are... You are the Hylian Champion, Link! — King Dorephan (Breath of the Wild)
↑Now then. Hero...I must inform you that Zora's Domain is in danger of vanishing because of Divine Beast Vah Ruta. I shall do you the courtesy of speaking bluntly. We alone cannot stop this beast. Will you lend us your strength? — King Dorephan (Breath of the Wild)
↑This is just too much, my liege! I do not understand it one bit! — Muzu (Breath of the Wild)
↑Link! Do not let his words concern you. I will work this out with Muzu. I shall return shortly! — Sidon (Breath of the Wild)
↑Link... Muzu is most likely at the square down below. Would you mind going down there? I would like you to try to speak with him. — King Dorephan (Breath of the Wild)
↑Link! I must reward your efforts! Now then! I implore you to collect the treasure inside that chest over there. It was cherished by Mipha. A memento of sorts. I would like you to have it as a token of our friendship. Please take good care of it. — King Dorephan (Breath of the Wild)
↑Link, all of the Zora thank you from the depths of our hearts for your heroic and selfless work! ...And you too, Sidon. As your father, I am proud of you for fighting the Divine Beast alongside Link. — King Dorephan (Breath of the Wild)
↑Link! This is wonderful! Link! Thank you so much! Truly, I could never thank you enough! You helped save our home from vanishing away! This calls for a top-tier expression of gratitude! ZO! ZO! RA RA RA! With all my heart... Thank you! — Sidon (Breath of the Wild)
↑[Mipha's Diary?] Ah, of course. Mipha's Diary was found just recently. Its discovery brought me much joy. It is on that table over there. — King Dorephan (Breath of the Wild)
↑Hmm... This will be a dangerous mission, piloting the Divine Beast against the darkness. And I understand that the knight who will seal that darkness has not yet appeared. — King Dorephan (Age of Calamity) That is true... — Zelda (Age of Calamity) I must refuse. I cannot send my daughter into such peril. — King Dorephan (Age of Calamity)
