The King of Hyrule? is a character in Echoes of Wisdom.[2]
Biography
The King of Hyrule? is an Echo of the King of Hyrule created by Null. He replaces the King after he falls into a Rift, appearing alongside Echoes of General Wright and Minister Lefte.[3] He accuses Princess Zelda of creating the Rift in the Throne Room, ordering that she be imprisoned pending her execution.[4][5][6]
After Zelda escapes from the Hyrule Castle Underground, the King of Hyrule? spreads word of his accusations and distributes wanted posters of her.[7][8] He has also commanded the Soldiers to search for her.[9] However, several residents of Hyrule Castle Town have noticed that the King and the other Echoes have been acting differently, such as ceasing public appearances.[10][11][12] As a result of his declarations, Hyrule Castle was closed to visitors.[13][14] In addition, he warned the Soldiers about the possibility of impostors pretending to be himself or his aides, so he set up a password with the goal of framing the real King, Minister, and General if they ever returned.[15]
