Kiss'n Tell
"Kiss'n Tell" is the fourth episode of The Legend of Zelda TV series. It was first broadcast in the United States and Canada on September 29, 1989.

The scene starts off with Princess Zelda riding through the woods, when suddenly she sees a maiden being attacked by a three-headed Gleeok.[1] Zelda uses fruit to battle them and, when they are stunned for a few moments, the princess sees a chance to go but the maiden refuses, saying she wants to be rescued by a handsome hero.[2] Soon after, Link appears and battles against the Gleeok.[3] After a few minutes of fighting and with some help from Zelda, the Gleeok is defeated and the maiden offers Link a kiss as a reward,[4] which the young hero gladly accepts and tells Zelda that she could learn something from the strange maiden.[5] As their lips meet, Link turns into a frog and the maiden turns to her true form: a Gibdo.[6] When Link reaches for his sword, he realizes that his hands have turned frog-like and is too distracted to see that the Gibdo is about to attack him.[7] However, Zelda pushes him out of the way and easily defeats the Gibdo by spinning it until it disappears back to Ganon's Evil Jar.[8] Ganon congratulates the Gleeok and Gibdo for their success and leaves the Underworld to proceed with his plan of capturing Zelda and asking for the Triforce of Wisdom in exchange of the princess.[9]
Back in the woods, Link looks into the water and realises his frog form. He starts to cry and Zelda hugs him, saying she'll be his friend no matter what.[10] Suddenly, Ganon appears and attacks them with his magic.[11] He stuns Link, who is helpless to save Zelda from being captured by an Octorok. Ganon summons two Deelers to get rid of Link while he kidnaps Zelda and takes her to the Underworld.[12] Just a few minutes too late, Link wakes up and eats the two Deelers, but is then disgusted by what he has done.[13] He then travels back to North Castle, meeting with Spryte.[14] He reveals himself as a frog and tells her about Zelda being captured while asking her for help.[15] Just then, the Triforce of Wisdom gives Link advice in from of a riddle, which tells him to look for the wise one known as the Witch of Walls.[16] Together, Link and Spryte head out to look for the Witch of Walls, who they find inside of a wall that has no end, next to an ironwood tree. She tells Link that the only way to become human again is to be kissed by a princess of her own free will.[17]
Following the witch's advice, Link goes to the Underworld.[18] He eventually finds Zelda and sets her free from the handcuffs that held her. The young hero then tells about how he can change back to a human,[19] and Zelda, although hesitant, agrees to do it.[20] However, before Zelda can kiss him, Ganon zaps them and knocks Link unconscious.[21] Spryte, who traveled with Link to the Underworld, feels sorry for the young hero and kisses him for having such a hard day.[22] Spryte's kiss causes Link to transform back into a human,[23] who quickly overpowers Ganon and causes him to fall through the floor. Link and Zelda then take the opportunity to escape back into the Overworld, leaving the evil wizard behind.[24]
Once outside, Spryte explains her kiss worked because her father is the king of fairies, making her the princess.[25] Zelda thanks Link and offers him a kiss as a reward.[26] Link takes the offer but ruins the mood when he sees a fly and eats it as an old habit, causing Zelda to change her mind.[27][28]
