Don't worry–Kodongos can regrow their tails over time.
Location: Volcano

Kodongo Tails are silver-rarity Materials awarded for completing the following Levels and Drablands Challenges of the Volcano. The number in parentheses is how many of the three Treasure Chests at the end of the Level contain a Kodongo Tail; each of the Links may open just one Chest.

  • Blazing Trail, "Transport the orb quickly!" (1)
  • Hinox Mine, "Pop all balloons!" (1)
  • Den of Flames, "Fewer Heart Containers!" (1)
  • Den of Flames, "Clear within the time limit!" (2)

They can also be won in the Coliseum and Daily Riches, or purchased from the Street Merchant for 500 Rupees each.
