Kolami Bridge,(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom)[1][2] also known as the Bridge to Rito Village,(AoCAge of Calamity)[3] is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Kolami Bridge is located in the Tabantha Frontier between Strock Lake and Tanagar Canyon. Kolami Bridge is a long, thin strip of logs tied together across a long gap. Along the Bridge, Wind Gusts blow hard sometimes east and sometimes west. Link can use the Paraglider to glide down the west wind to Strock Lake quickly, or use the east wind to glide across Tanagar Canyon. Down under the Bridge, although there are many Enemies, there are some Luminous Stone Deposits for Link to harvest.

Located in the Tabantha Frontier Stage, the Bridge to Rito Village spans a wide gap overlooking Tanagar Canyon. True to its name, it leads to Rito Village to the north. It is made out of Snow-covered logs tied together by ropes. An Outpost is located just southeast of it.

During the Scenario "Revali, the Rito Warrior", a Bow-wielding Rito Captain destroys it with a Bomb Arrow to cut off access to Rito Village,[4] forcing the Warriors to take an alternate route north. After traveling through the west side of the Stage, the Warriors can jump down to the plateau below the Bridge, which is inhabited by a group of Ice-Breath Lizalfos and an Ice Moblin. On this plateau is a Wooden Box and a Cracked Wall blocking an Updraft that the Warriors can ride up to the north side of the Bridge, which connects to the Outpost in front of Rito Village guarded by Revali.

The south end of the Bridge to Rito Village can be visited in its destroyed state in the Challenges "Anti-Ice Training: I" and "Mountain Rescue". Its north side and the plateau below it can be accessed during the Challenges "Fairy Fountain: Deep Snows" and "Fierce Gale of the Rito". The "Winged Escort" Challenge allows Teba to cross the Bridge in its intact state, thus allowing access to both its north and south sides, and, by extension, the plateau below it. All Challenges lack the Cracked Wall on the plateau, leaving the Updraft exposed and readily usable.

Nomenclature

Kolami Bridge derives its name from Komali, the Rito prince from The Wind Waker.
