Lake Kolomo is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Lake Kolomo is a body of Water located northeast of the Great Plateau in Hyrule Field. Lake Kolomo surrounds the Kolomo Garrison Ruins on three sides and features a small island in its center, where a Stone Talus (Luminous) resides.

Prior to the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link walked along the Lake's shoreline while making preparations to head to Goron City to work on Divine Beast Vah Rudania to make it easier for Daruk to pilot it.[3][4] Consequently, Lake Kolomo is the site of the Recovered Memory, "Resolve and Grief", which Link can recall by visiting the Lake after talking to Impa and receiving the "Captured Memories" Main Quest.

A Monster Encampment is situated on the southeastern shore of the Lake. A total of five Bomb Barrel are around the camp. At the center of the camp is a Campfire, where a few Roasted Bass have been cooked. Three Iron Boxes are in the camp as well and can be broken to receive Rupees, Arrows, Roasted Bass, and Blackened Crab. A short distance south of the main camp is a Cooking Pot, along with a Wooden Box that holds Acorns, Apples, and more Arrows.

Tears of the Kingdom

Lake Kolomo is located in Hyrule Field. Fallen Debris have fallen from the Sky onto its shore, bringing damaged Boards with them. Two new Monster Outposts have been constructed along the Lake's shoreline. Wooden Boxes and Bomb Barrels surround the northern Monster Outpost, while the eastern Encampment is barren in comparison. The Kolomo Garrison Ruins sit on a small hill on the southeastern side of Lake Kolomo.

In ancient Hyrule at the time of King Rauru's rule, Zelda drank tea with him and Queen Sonia at a gazebo overlooking Lake Kolomo, as seen in the "Zelda and Sonia" Memory.
