A fire spirit's tear, perhaps? Carrying one is good luck.
Found: The Ruins

Lava Drops are silver-rarity Materials awarded for completing the following Levels and Drablands Challenges of The Ruins. The number in parentheses is how many of the three Treasure Chests at the end of the Level contain a Lava Drop; each of the Links may open just one Chest.

They can also be won in the Coliseum and Daily Riches, or purchased from the Street Merchant for 1,000 Rupees each.

Lava Drops are one of the Materials used to make the Fire Blazer.[1]
