Lava Pits are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] Lava Pits go unnamed in Majora's Mask.
Location and Uses
Lava Pits are shallow pools of Lava which will damage Link if he comes into contact with them.
Ocarina of Time
Lava Pits can be found in Dodongo's Cavern, Goron City, and the Fire Temple. If Link touches a Lava Pit, he will sustain damage in quarter-Heart intervals. The Goron Tunic temporarily protects Link from taking damage in Lava Pits
Majora's Mask
Lava Pits can be found in Snowhead and the Stone Tower Temple. Goron Link is capable of walking through Lava Pits without taking any damage.
Echoes of Wisdom
Lava Pits appear in the Eldin Volcano region. If Zelda steps on one, she will catch fire.
