Leekah is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.[2][3]
Biography
Breath of the Wild
Leekah is a young Hylian woman who can be found either at Rebonae Bridge, near Woodland Stable, or near Horwell Bridge. While there, she likes to watch the Hylia River.[4] Whenever Link encounters her, she will be under attack by a Bokoblin.[5][6][7][8]
If Link saves Leekah, she gives him Foods or ingredients as a reward.[9][10] When gifting it to him, she may remark that he deserves it more than the guy she planned to give it to.[11] She might also claim that she is scared of what would have happened to her if Link did not show up.[12][13]
After Link saves Leekah for the first time, she informs him that she likes watching the Hylia River flow by.[4] When she watches the Water, she finds it hard to believe that the Great Calamity ever happened.[14] When she is inevitably attacked by Monsters, she is reminded to return to the nearest Stable.[15]
On subsequent rescues, Leekah expresses disdain that she is unable to take a walk and watch the Hylia River without needing to be saved.[16] She then decides to return to either Wetland Stable, Woodland Stable, or Riverside Stable.[17] She may also remark that it is typical that her day out would be ruined.[18]
Should Link fail to save Leekah, she will eventually pick herself up off the ground.[19] When she does so, she claims that her head hurts, and she wonders why she thought it would be a good idea to take this road.[20] She may also be angry, accusing Link of standing by while she got beat up.[21]
When she arrives at a Stable, Leekah will stand at its entryway. If Link previously saved her, she claims to feel less anxious when he is around.[22] Leekah has heard that ladies 100 years ago were able to walk alone without feeling threatened, but she is unable to imagine that.[1] If Link did not save her, Leekah will be irritated and wonder what she should do now.[23]
