Lizalfos Tails are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom | AoCAge of Calamity)[1][2][3]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

In Breath of the Wild, Lizalfos Tails are Materials that can be dropped by Blue Lizalfos and Black Lizalfos. They are highly valued as ingredients in Elixirs due to their ability to continue wriggling after being severed from their body.[1] Lizalfos Tails can be exchanged for 12 Mon at the Fang and Bone or sold for 28 Rupees. They can also be used to make Green Dye at the Kochi Dye Shop.

Great Fairies can use Lizalfos Tails to enhance the Soldier's Set and Zora Set.

Tears of the Kingdom

Lizalfos Tails are dropped by standard Lizalfos. They can be Cooked into Elixirs and used for Upgrading pieces of Armor. They may also be Fused to Weapons to grant them whip-like properties.

Lizalfos Tails are required to Enhance the following pieces of Armor at a Great Fairy Fountain:
