Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

The Lookout Post is a small Gerudo outpost located on the East Barrens of the Gerudo Desert, directly south of Gerudo Town.[1] The Gerudo soldier, Sudrey, has been stationed at at the Post with the purpose of monitoring Divine Beast Vah Naboris.[3] Due to the Lookout Post's proximity to the Divine Beast, it will initially be covered by a Sandstorm. Link can avoid Naboris's Lightning attacks by hiding inside the Post. Two Ladders can be found on the exterior on the Lookout Post, which lead to the roof and a wooden platform. Link is also able to sleep in the Bed inside the Post.

During the "Divine Beast Vah Naboris" Main Quest, Riju asks Link to meet her at the Lookout Post for their fight against the Divine Beast.[1] When Link arrives, the Sandstorm will have shifted away from the Post. Sudrey directs Link to the wooden platform on top of the Post, where Riju is waiting for him.[4] While speaking with Link, Riju will go over their plan for facing Divine Beast Vah Naboris.[5] She also asks Link to retreat to the Lookout Post if he needs to stop fighting.[6]

After Divine Beast Vah Naboris has been calmed, Sudrey decides to remain at the Lookout Post for the foreseeable future, citing the presence of Monsters throughout the Gerudo Desert.[7]

Inside the Lookout Post, Link can come upon a stone Treasure Chest with a Golden Bow inside.
