Mad Bomber
The Mad Bomber is an Enemy in Link's Awakening.[1][name references needed]
Characteristics
The Mad Bomber is one of Prince Richard's servants that has went berserk. He[1] can be found hiding in Hidey-Holes within the courtyard area of Kanalet Castle, and tosses Bombs from a distance. He will choose a Hidey-Hole at random and throw out a Bomb from it before disappearing and reappearing in another. The Bombs explode quickly, and may knock Link into Holes as well as cause damage. The Mad Bomber can be damaged when his head is sticking out of a Hole. Doing so will earn Link one of the five Golden Leaves requested by Prince Richard. The Mad Bomber does not reappear once defeated.
Nomenclature
The Mad Bomber shares the latter part of its Japanese name, ボムナック (Bomu Nakku), with Darknuts and Iron Knuckles, タートナック (Tāto Nakku) and アイアンナック (Aian Nakku), respectively.
