Madorna Mountain is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Madorna Mountain makes up the southern border of Mount Lanayru, and it is located directly to the west of the Lanayru Range. The Mountain has three peaks, upon each of which is a Cedar Tree. Ore Deposits and a Rare Ore Deposit can be found on its western end. The Mountain is part of a Freezing Climate, meaning Link needs to have at least two levels of Cold Resistance to avoid taking damage.

At the beginning of the "Secret of the Cedars" Shrine Quest, Clavia points out the Cedar Trees on Madorna Mountain to Link, explaining that she found a note that says "When the three summit trees become one, turn your back to them and head toward the sea. A trial encased in stone awaits you there."[3] Clavia suggests that Link attempt to follow the instructions himself, since she is unable to leave Hateno Village.[4] When Link walks towards Afromsia Coast after lining up Madorna Mountain's Cedar Trees, he will find Tahno O'ah Shrine in a blocked off cave.[5]

There is one Korok Seed Puzzle on top of Madorna Mountain. It takes the form of a Race that starts on the Mountain's central peak. After reaching the end of the Race on the western peak, a Korok will appear and give Link a Korok Seed.[6]
