Magic Plants,(OoT)[1] also known as Magic Flowers,(OoT)[2] are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[name references needed] Magic Plants go unnamed in Tri Force Heroes.

Location and Uses

Ocarina of Time

Mature versions of Beanstalks, Magic Plants are large, green plants that appear when Link is an adult, in patches of Soil where he planted Magic Beans as a child. Standing on a Magic Plant will cause it to levitate and fly around, often leading Link to accessing a Piece of Heart or Gold Skulltula. There are a total of ten Magic Plants that can be grown throughout Hyrule.

Majora's Mask

Magic Plants can be grown from Magic Beans purchased from the Bean Seller, a Business Scrub, or at the Trading Post. Planting the Magic Bean will cause a small Beanstalk to grow, which can be grown further into a Magic Plant by pouring Spring Water on it or watering it with Rain from the Song of Storms.

All Magic Plants disappear after Termina is reset to its state three days earlier with the Song of Time.

Tri Force Heroes

Magic Plants appear in Stage 1 of Moblin Base, Stage 2 of Frozen Plateau, and in Stage 3 of Infinity Dunes. They are used to raise the Links to higher ledges. In their latter appearance, they start out in Beanstalk form and must first be grown by using the Water Rod on them; in other Levels they appear already fully developed.
