The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 is a Downloadable Content pack for Mario Kart 8 released on November 13, 2014.[1] It contains 3 new characters, 4 new vehicles, 2 new vehicle parts, and 2 new cups of 4 tracks each.
The content of this DLC was included in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch. Since March 27, 2023, the original DLC is now unavailable due to the Nintendo eShop closure.[2]

Bonuses
If both this DLC pack and Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 are purchased, the player will be able to use 8 new alternate colors of both Yoshi and Shy Guy. The player gains access as soon as the packs are purchased, so if both packs were pre-ordered, the player could use these colors right away, before the release of either pack. These colors cannot be selected by CPU players.
