Attack Up

Mighty Bananas can be found growing in the tropical forests of Faron and on Eventide Island. They are also sold by Emri in Kara Kara Bazaar and dropped by regular Hinoxes. Eating one raw heals half of a Heart. When Cooked, the resulting Food provides Link with attack buffs.[1] This is due to the high amount of protein and calories present that they contain.[4] Mighty Bananas exposed to Fire become Roasted Mighty Bananas. They can be used at the Kochi Dye Shop to make Yellow Dye.

Mighty Bananas are one of three foodstuffs favored by the Sheikah, with the others being Swift Carrots and Fortified Pumpkins. They are the clear obsession of the Yiga Clan, as the Yiga Clan Hideout contains many Mighty Bananas. In addition, all Yiga Footsoldiers and Yiga Blademasters drop them upon their defeat. The Yiga Blademasters patrolling the Yiga Clan Hideout will also deviate from their path to eat Mighty Bananas that are left on the ground. Monk Maz Koshia will also stop fighting and eat them should Link drop some during their fight.

Mighty Bananas are required to make Fried Bananas in a Cooking Pot. Along with other Fruits, Mighty Bananas can be used to make Fruit Pie, Fruitcake, Honeyed Fruits, Simmered Fruit, Steamed Fruit, Fruit and Mushroom Mix, and Copious Simmered Fruit.
