Mini-Moldorms are recurring Enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Characteristics

A Link to the Past

Mini-Moldorms first appear in A Link to the Past, being found in various locations such as the caves of Death Mountain.

Link's Awakening

Mini-Moldorms in Link's Awakening appear with a black body and a green outline, but otherwise act the same as in A Link to the Past. In the Switch remake, they have their old appearance, but with more detailed eyes.

Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages

Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances and appearing the same as in Link's Awakening DX, they are found in Poison Moth's Lair, Unicorn's Cave, Explorer's Crypt, Sword & Shield Maze, and Temple Remains, during the events of Oracle of Seasons, while in Oracle of Ages, Mini-Moldorms can be found in Moonlit Grotto, Skull Dungeon, Jabu-Jabu's Belly, and Ancient Tomb, as well as Hero's Cave in both games.

In addition, the Black Beast hidden on an island off the Western Coast is identical to a Mini-Moldorm. If Link uses a Mystery Seed on the object buried there, it brings the Black Beast back to life. After defeating him, Link obtains the X-Shaped Jewel.

A Link Between Worlds

In A Link Between Worlds, Mini-Moldorms appear similarly to their appearance in A Link to the Past. Purple Mini-Moldorms are a stronger variant of Mini-Moldorm.
