Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Mohawk Manes are a type of Mane that can be equipped to Link's Horses. Link can change to this Mane by speaking to certain workers at Highland Stable, Outskirt Stable, South Akkala Stable, and Woodland Stable. Like other Manes, Epona and the Giant Horse are unable to equip these.[3][4]
Tears of the Kingdom
Mohawk Manes return in Tears of the Kingdom. Link can have his Horses' Manes styled into a Mane at any Stable, but only after he has obtained 16 Pony Points and unlocked the Mane-Restyling Service.[5][6] However, Mohawk Manes cannot be applied to Epona, the Giant Horse, or the Giant White Stallion.[7][8] By default, Spot will have a Mohawk Mane.
