Monster-Control Crew, Squad One
The Monster-Control Crew, Squad One is a group in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Overview
The Monster-Control Crew, Squad One is a squadron of the Monster-Control Crew lead by Hoz.[1] Sawtu, Wingo, Flahva, Purpen, Sanov, Mino, Siceno, and Hamata are all soldiers in the Squad. Two members of the Monster-Control Crew join the Squad as they travel, although they stay behind at their campsites. These are Menter, who performs Weapons maintenance, and Suzuna, who tends to their Horses and creates Elixirs.[2][3] In addition, the Squad keeps a Note on the Table at their campsites that was written by Hoz, in which he details Link's use of the Jump Slash and encourages his soldiers to replicate it during their fights.[4]

That monster-control crew bunch has toughened up considerably. They're taking better care of the gear I maintain for them too. Which is nice, since it makes my job easier. They still carry farm tools into battle, mind you, but whatever helps them keep the peace is OK by me.

I've been helping them out by taking care of the horses and making elixirs. Thing is, I was so worried about them coming back safe and sound that I made waaay too much. You want to take some? I'm sure it'll come in handy during your travels.

Link makes use of the jump slash, leaping into the air and swinging his weapon down with a practiced ease.

All crew members should be diligent in their daily training and aspire toward that level of mastery. -Captain Hoz
