Mount Taran is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Mount Taran is located in East Necluda. It is home to the Tawa Jinn Shrine and the three Giant Brothers. There are three Pedestals with Concave Slots, in addition to a Stone Tablet that instructs Link on how to complete "The Three Giant Brothers" Shrine Quest.[4] On and around the mountain are a few patches of marshland surrounded by what appear to be giant ribs of some long-dead creature. Three of the marshlands (Hanu Pond, Uten Marsh and Rabella Wetlands) contain a Hinox, each of whom has an Ancient Orb on their necklace.

As part of the "Mount Taran's Solitary Masters" Quest, Link wishes to observe the Spear masters that are said to live on Mount Taran.[3] When he sneaks up there, he discovers that the Spear masters are a pair of Hinoxes, though he is still able to improve his skills by watching them.[5]
