Nokani Forest is a location in The Wand of Gamelon.[1] It is unlocked after completing Dodomai Palace.

Features and Overview

Nokani Forest is a dense woodland in Gamelon close to the shores of Shutoy Lake. It features enormously tall trees that reach as high as the mountains, and are so large that their canopies blot out the sun and cause it to become dark. Zelda enters the Forest from its base, where a plethora of tree stumps and stone walls cover the uneven ground. Goriyas actively try to attack Zelda with Boomerangs in this section. At the end is a small tree with a hole in its side that leads into the next area, a small grove of very tall trees that tower over the rest of the Forest. The overhead canopies block the sunlight here, requiring the Lantern to light the way. Ropes tied to the boughs allow Zelda to climb to the treetops, which are infested by flying Moas and Bots that attempt to impede on her progress. Another hole inside one of the trees takes Zelda to the next level, where more trees must be climbed.

Sitting atop one of the branches in this area is Myra, who gives Zelda the Fairy Lantern, telling her that it will "penetrate the dark around Ganon." However, she also warns Zelda that only the Wand of Gamelon will defeat him, and bids her good luck before disappearing. Close to where she is sitting is a Triforce Map, which returns Zelda to the world map screen.
