Descriptions

Do you know what a ChuChu is, small fry?

No, I'm not talking about the sound you make when you kiss someone!HeartHeart

I'm talking about ChuChus! They're those slimy, monster-like puddles of goo that turn into blobs of jelly, stand up, and start jumping at you like crazy when you come near them.

Well, in any case, there's lots of them on that island over there, so if you see any, I'd avoid them. They can get...nasty.

Now that I think about it, every once in a while I see the potion brewer who lives on Windfall Island come here... Now why would he do that, fry?

From there, Dragon Roost Island is east and Windfall Island is west.

Many cultural exchanges have taken place between those two islands.

Pawprint Isle is located in the northern waters of the Great Sea between Windfall Island and Dragon Roost Island. As its name implies, it is shaped like an animal's paw print with a large central Island and four smaller islets to one side. The main Island features a Postbox, allowing Link to receive Letters. A large, egg-like structure sits at the center of the main Island. Link can enter a Small Hole at the base of this structure to find a Secret Cave entrance. Outside of the structure, there are two Statues of Chuchus. A rare Blue Chuchu hides on the larger, eastern Statue. If Link climbs the smaller Statue, Green Rupees[how many?] will fall from the Sky.

Inside the Secret Cave is a series of tunnels with mysterious drop-like growths hanging from the ceiling. A central chamber in the tunnels features a ledge with a Pole that Link can climb to with the Grappling Hook. This ledge bears a Treasure Chest. The central chamber branches into different tunnel ways, with one unobstructed and the rest blocked by Bomb Rocks. More Treasure Chests sit at the ends of each path.

A second Secret Cave sits on one of the Isle's "toes", beneath a unique Tree. By using the Hookshot, Link can enter the Secret Cave to find an arena with three waves of Wizzrobes that can spawn other Enemies. A Treasure Chest will appear inside this Secret Cave as a reward for clearing the arena.

The Salvage Corp. can be seen looking for treasure in the waters near Pawprint Isle. They give Link Treasure Chart 34 when spoken to. Beedle also sails near the Isle, selling a limited arrangement of Items in his Shop Ship. Two Rafts occupied by Sea Bokoblins drift through the waters and a Sea Platform guarding a Treasure Chest sits to the north of the Isle.
