Overview

Breath of the Wild

Perfect Dodging is accomplished by jumping out of the way of an Enemy's attack at the last moment.[1] Doing so will temporarily slow down time, allowing Link to quickly strike Enemies with a Flurry Rush. A Flurry Rush is a rapid string of attacks, the quantity depending on what type of Weapon he has equipped at the start of the attack string. One-Handed Weapons have a seven-hit string, Two-Handed Weapons have a four-hit string, and Spears have a nine-hit combo. After performing a Flurry Rush with a Two-Handed Weapon, assuming Link does not attack the fourth time, he will require a short period of time to recover.

Tears of the Kingdom

As in Breath of the Wild, Perfect Dodging can be performed by dodging an Enemy's attack immediately before it would hit Link. After Perfect Dodging, time will slow down, and Link will be able to initiate a Flurry Rush. The Boss Demon King Ganondorf can evade Link's attacks with Perfect Dodges of his own.
