Puffstools appear as Enemies in Cadence of Hyrule. They behave like the Mushroom enemies from Crypt of the NecroDancer, remaining stationary and releasing spores every fourth beat. There are a total of five varieties of Puffstool, starting with the standard Blue Puffstools, the stronger Purple Puffstools, Black Puffstools, and explosive Red Puffstools, as well as the Green Puffstools introduced in the Symphony of the Mask Downloadable Content pack. Each possesses different attack patterns or abilities.

Descriptions
Puffstools in The Minish Cap have red caps and are nearly invincible. If Link uses the Gust Jar on them, they turn gray, leaving them open to attacks. Puffstools appear in Deepwood Shrine and some Caves. When they shake, they release spores that slow down Link; these spores can be cleared away with the Gust Jar, and sometimes cover Switches.
