Oracle of Ages
The Wind Waker
In The Wind Waker, the Quest Status Screen is accessed by pressing START, then, if the most recently-viewed Subscreen was the Items Screen, pressing the L or R button to switch to Quest Status.
The menu features green, paper-like backgrounds, divided into a large tab on the left side, and a much smaller tab on the right. The top of the large tab features icons for each of the Wind Waker Songs that Link has learned, along with their notes; pressing the A button plays the selected song. Beside these songs is a slot for the collected Triforce Shards (or, if Link has all eight, the assembled Triforce of Courage), and below that, slots for the three Goddess Pearls. On the lower-left part of the large tab is an "Options" button, a "Save" button, a Heart Container icon showing Link's current Pieces of Heart, and an icon displaying Link's total number of Treasure Charts and Triforce Charts collect.
The "Options" button brings up a mini-menu allowing the player to select the Targeting mode (Hold or Switch), enable the Rumble feature of the Nintendo GameCube Controller, and select the sound mode (Mono, Stereo, or Surround). In the Japanese version, there is a fourth option to enable furigana, which displays the pronunciation of kanji and other unique characters.
On the smaller tab to the right is a vertical row of five Items representing Link's equipment: his current Sword, current Shield, the Power Bracelets, the Pirate's Charm, and the Hero's Charm. Selecting the Hero's Charm with the A button brings up a selection to equip or unequip the Charm.

The Minish Cap
The Quest Status Screen displays a number of Items in The Minish Cap. The Kinstone Bag can be accessed from here, and Link's current Pieces of Heart and Mysterious Shells are also displayed, along with the number of Tiger Scrolls he has collected. When Link collects all of the Figurines, the Carlov Medal replaces the number of Mysterious Shells; similarly, when all 100 Kinstone Fusions are completed, the Tingle Trophy replaces the Kinstone Bag.
To the right of these collectables, the Four Elements are displayed as they are obtained, as well as the Grip Ring, the Power Bracelet, and the Flippers. On the bottom are three spaces for various temporary quest items:
- Smith's Sword
- Broken Picori Blade
- Spare Key
- Wake-Up Mushroom
- A Hyrulean Bestiary
- Dog Food
- A History of Masks
- Legend of the Picori
- Graveyard Key
These Items disappear from the Quest Status Screen when Link uses them to progress on his journey.
