"Relentless as a Waterfall" is the first Scenario of Chapter 6 and sixteenth overall in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]

Overview

The Scenario begins with a Divine Beast Battle in which Mipha and Sidon must pilot Divine Beast Vah Ruta to Akkala Citadel to support the soldiers trapped inside.[2][3]

Vah Ruta can choose to take one of two routes to reach Akkala Citadel.[4] Each route has an advantage and disadvantage.[5][6] In addition to more Enemies , a large rock wall blocks the end of the western route. Mipha will worry they made a mistake.[7] Sidon tells her to destroy the wall, knowing Vah Ruta is capable.[8] Once past, Mipha says they can join Link and the other Warriors at Akkala Citadel.[9]

Objective Aid the allies at Akkala Citadel

While Sidon controls Vah Ruta, Mipha joins the other Warriors on the ground to fight their way inside Akkala Citadel and rescue their allies.[10][11]

Objective Capture the Outposts

Before they can get inside Akkala Citadel, the Warriors must first recapture three of the four Outposts. After recapturing them, Mipha will heal the injured Hylian Captain at the central Outpost.[12] The captain is grateful and urges the party to help the soldiers inside.[13]

Objective Defeat the Fire Guardian

To get inside, the Warriors must also defeat a Fire Guardian blocking the gates and rescue another Hylian Captain inside from a Silver Moblin. Now not under immediate threat, the soldiers clear the rubble blocking access to the rest of Akkala Citadel's interior.[14]

Objective Help Mipha relieve the soldiers protecting the citadel

After all major Enemies outside Akkala Citadel's gates are defeated, Mipha asks the others to protect the entrance while she continues onward to heal the injured captains.[15][16] Powerful Enemies will continually appear to attack the square, requiring at least one Warrior to remain behind and help defend it. Once all the captains are healed, Mipha begins to search for Robbie.[17][18]

Objective Aid Mipha's rescue of Robbie

Reaching the top room of Akkala Citadel, the Warriors fill find Robbie.[19] At that moment, a Malice Guardian busts through the ceiling and even more Enemies begin to approach.[20][21] Daruk then arrives with reinforcements.[22] The Warriors must again defeat all Enemies within Akkala Citadel. However, once they do, yet another wave of Enemies appears.[23]

Objective Defeat the enemies threatening Akkala Citadel

Robbie announces a plan to keep them at bay by destroying Akkala Citadel's bridge.[24] Meanwhile, Mipha fights the Enemies approaching from the south.[25] When all Enemies on the bridge and south of Akkala Citadel are defeated, the Warriors are ordered to fall back so the bridge can be destroyed.[26][27]

Objective Defeat all enemies

With the bridge collapsed, the Warriors are able to glide down to Akkala Citadel's lower area and defeat the remaining Enemies.[28][29]
