Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Riola Spring is located in West Necluda.[note 1] It can be found to the south of Mount Floria, where it is the origin of one of the Waterfalls that make up the Floria Falls. It frequently Thunderstorms in the area, and the land that surrounds the Spring is composed of steep cliffs covered in long Grass and tropical Palm Trees. The remains of three flooded Zonai Ruin structures are also situated within the Spring.

Farosh will often emerge from Riola Spring, creating Updrafts and Winds as she does so. She flies down the Floria Falls, doubling back towards Riola Spring after reaching Rassla Lake in the south. She then enters and exits Riola Spring one more time before departing for the skies.

A total of ten Treasure Chests can be found at Riola Spring. Six of these are metallic Treasure Chests that have sunken below the Water, and two of them are wooden Chest trapped under Boulders in the Zonai Ruin structures. In all, these Chest contain one Soldier's Spear, one Phrenic Bow, 10 Arrows, five Fire Arrows, five Arrows, one Opal, and two Purple Rupees.

Link can find two Korok Seed Puzzles at Riola Spring. One is a Race that starts at the Floria Falls, right at the base of the Waterfall that flows from Riola Spring. It ends at the top of the Waterfall, which Link must Swim up before time runs out. The second Puzzle is a metallic Boulder which must be placed into the easternmost Zonai Ruin using Magnesis. Whenever Link solves one of these Puzzles, a Korok will appear and give him a Korok Seed.[5]

Notes

  1. In Creating a Champion, Riola Spring is shown on a map to be part of the Faron Region.[3] However, this contradicts the game's file data for the location, which considers it to be part of West Necluda.[4] Therefore, this is not considered Canon.
