The Road to Mountain Village is an area in Majora's Mask.[1] Located directly north of Termina Field, it serves as the main passageway to the Mountain Village and the general Snowhead region.

Features and Overview

The Road to Mountain Village is a fairly insignificant place within the scope of Link's adventure. There are no items to be found, no Pieces of Heart hidden anywhere, and no inhabitants. The only interesting feature to be found is a Gossip Stone which delineates the potential applications of Gold Dust, in addition to providing Link with the knowledge of its market value at the Curiosity Shop.[2]

Additionally, the pathway is notable for being the first location in the game where Bombs (and by extension, a Bomb Bag) are required in order to proceed. As an alternative, Link may use the Blast Mask to eliminate the ploughs of snow barricading the way to the Mountain Village.
