Roasted Basses are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Roasted Basses are a type of Roasted Food, resulting from Hyrule Basses or Staminoka Basses that have made contact with Fire or a Scorching Climate.[3] Blue Hinoxes also have the potential to drop them after death, and they are sold at the Protein Palace General Store in Goron City. Roasted Bass is said to have flaky flesh and smell savory.[1] Link can restore one and a half Hearts to his Life Gauge by eating a Roasted Bass.

Tears of the Kingdom

Roasted Basses reappear in Tears of the Kingdom and are again a variety of Roasted Food. They can be made by exposing Hyrule Basses or Staminoka Basses to Fire or a Scorching Climate. Roasted Bass is said to have flaky flesh and smell savory.[2] Link can restore one and a half Hearts to his Life Gauge by eating a Roasted Bass.
