Roasted Trouts are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Roasted Trouts are a type of Roasted Food, and they can be made by exposing Chillfin Trouts, Sizzlefin Trouts, Voltfin Trout, or Stealthfin Trouts to a Fire or Scorching Climate.[3] Blue Hinoxes also have a chance to drop Roasted Trouts when killed by Link. Their flesh is soft, flaky, and has a mild flavor.[1] When eaten, Roasted Trouts restore one and a half Hearts to Link's Life Gauge.

Tears of the Kingdom

Roasted Trouts reappear in Tears of the Kingdom and are again a variety of Roasted Food. They can be made by exposing Chillfin Trouts, Sizzlefin Trouts, Voltfin Trout, or Stealthfin Trouts to Fire or a Scorching Climate. Their flesh is soft, flaky, and has a mild flavor.[2] When eaten, Roasted Trouts restore one and a half Hearts to Link's Life Gauge
