Roll Attack
The Roll Attack is a recurring ability in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]
Overview
Four Swords Adventures
If the B Button is pressed as Link finishes Rolling in Four Swords Adventures, he will perform a Spin Attack.
The Minish Cap
Link can obtain a Tiger Scroll to learn a Sword Technique known as the Roll Attack in The Minish Cap; it is taught to him by Grayblade. To use it, Link must Roll and swing his Sword just before the Roll finishes.[2] If he does so, he will slide forward with his Sword outstretched, and will perform a Spin Attack if he runs into an enemy or item.
Twilight Princess
Rather than a Spin Attack, Link performs a forward thrust after rising from a Roll in Twilight Princess. Unlike most of the Sword techniques in the game, it is not a Hidden Skill; it can be used from the moment Link picks up a Sword.
