Royal Guard Cap
These boots are part of the uniform for Hyrule's Royal Guard. They're a fine blend of style and function and a rather rare find.

The Royal Guard Cap is obtained through the "EX Royal Guard Rumors" Side Quest, which is exclusive to The Champions' Ballad Downloadable Content pack. During the Side Quest, Link is required to read the Super Rumor Mill V4, which is located at Riverside Stable.[4] Within, Traysi claims that pieces of the Royal Guard Set can be found in the Dining Hall, near the Guards' Chamber, and on the second floor.[5]

The Royal Guard Cap can be found in a Hidden Chest in Champions' Hall, which is located on the second floor of the Sanctum of Hyrule Castle. After it has been found, Granté will begin to sell it in Tarrey Town.[note 1] The Cap is part of the Royal Guard Set, along with the Royal Guard Boots and Royal Guard Uniform.[6] Wearing all three pieces of Armor will decrease the amount of Stamina Link uses during a charge attack. The Royal Guard Cap cannot be enhanced by a Great Fairy or Dyed at the Kochi Dye Shop.

Notes

  1. Prior to the Version 1.3.3 Update, Granté would not sell any Armor that is exclusive to the Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass. This meant that the Royal Guard Cap could not be replaced if sold.
