Biography
Breath of the Wild
Saas Ko'sah is a Sheikah Monk who serves the Goddess Hylia. Following the first Great Calamity and the ostracism of the Sheikah 10,000 years prior to Breath of the Wild, Saas Ko'sah became a Monk and constructed an Ancient Shrine to help prepare Link against the threat of Calamity Ganon.[4][1]
Following Link's Slumber of Restoration in the Shrine of Resurrection, the Saas Ko'sah Shrine is activated and can then be entered by someone bearing a Sheikah Slate.[5] When Link enters the Shrine, he is greeted by the Monk and is offered the Shrine's Trial in the name of Hylia.[2] If Link completes the Trial, Saas Ko'sah praises him and rewards the Hylian Champion with a Spirit Orb.[6] With their role fulfilled, Saas Ko'sah wishes Link well as their body fades away.[7][8]

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity
As part of the "Trial of Saas Ko'sah" Quest, Saas Ko'sah asks the Warriors to bring them proof of their triumphs and "token of willpower."[9] Once the Warriors bring the proper Materials, Saas Ko'sah rewards them with divine protection, which grants Monk Maz Koshia an additional Special Attack gauge.[10]
