Saddles are Items in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Saddles are a type of Horse Gear that are worn on a Horse's body. They can be obtained by registering Horses, completing Mini-Games, or in Treasure Chests across Hyrule Kingdom. All Saddles, except for the Ancient Saddle, are purely cosmetic. They are also all Key Items, with the exception of the Stable Saddle.

The following four Stables have workers that are able to change the Saddles of Link's Horses. They will only change Link's Horse Gear when he has a high bond with his Horse, and they will not change the Horse Gear of Epona or the Giant Horse.[2][3] The Stables are as follows:

Stable Character
Highland Stable Phanna
Outskirt Stable Canni
South Akkala Stable Tenne
Woodland Stable Breen

I'm sorry, but I don't think I have any gear that'd fit such a large horse, and I bet it wouldn't like its mane handled... I'm so sorry about that." — Canni (Breath of the Wild)
