Samasa Plain
Samasa Plain is a recurring location in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Features and Overview
Breath of the Wild
Samasa Plain is located directly between Rutala River and Lanayru Bay in the Lanayru Great Spring. A tunnel connects it to Brynna Plain on the other side of a hill. The remains of an unnamed Hylian village can be found at the center of the Plain.[3] Nearby, Rucco Maag Shrine is surrounded by a maze of spikes, though it can be safely navigated without taking any damage. Before Divine Beast Vah Ruta has been calmed, Rain will constantly fall on Samasa Plain.[4]
On the northern shore of Samasa Plain is a Dock with a Raft at its end stretches out onto Rutala River. A group of Lizalfos have set up a Monster Stronghold around the Dock. The Treasure Chest in this camp contains a bundle of five Ice Arrows. A second Treasure Chest is located on a hill on the south end of Samasa Plain. When it is opened, Link will receive a Silver Rupee.

A total of three Korok Seed Puzzles can be found on Samasa Plain. The first is a Rock Pattern in the southwestern corner of the Plain. The second is a Flower Trail that begins on Brynna Plain, ending on the other side of the hill that separates the two. Lastly, a Natural Hiding Spot that takes the form of a Rock under a Pile of Leaves. Once each of these Puzzles have been solved, a Korok will appear and give Link a Korok Seed.[5]
