Sapphires are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2][3]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Sapphires are Materials in Breath of the Wild. They can be found by destroying Ore Deposits and Rare Ore Deposits, or by defeating Stone Taluses, silver Enemy variants, and Yiga Blademasters. They are sold by Pelison at Ore and More and Kairo along the Mountain Road. They are imbued with the power of Ice, which is useful for making Heat Resistant Armor.[1]

Three Sapphires are needed to purchase the Sapphire Circlet from Starlight Memories in Gerudo Town. In addition, the merchant Ramella in Goron City will occasionally ask for Sapphires, which she will pay an increased price for.[4]

Sapphires are required to upgrade the following pieces of Armor at a Great Fairy Fountain:
