Location and Uses
Schema Stones are a type of Key Item used to obtain new Autobuild designs. They are primarily obtained from Steward Constructs in Abandoned Mines, with two exceptions; the Schema Stone for the Hot-Air Balloon Schematic is given by Josha as a reward for completing "A Mystery in the Depths", and the Beam Cycle Schematic is obtained from the Steward Construct in the Shrine of Resurrection. If Link speaks with a Steward Construct that can provide a Schema Stone prior to obtaining Autobuild, he will be instructed to travel to the Great Abandoned Central Mine before he can receive it.[2]
After the Steward Construct at an Abandoned Mine has provided Link with its Schema Stone, it will also supply Link with the Objects needed to assemble the Schematic. At most Abandoned Mines, the assembled Schematic can be used to more easily reach a Treasure Chest.

Trivia
- Despite Schema Stones being unobtainable prior to obtaining Autobuild, they have an alternate description in the Inventory if Link does not yet have Autobuild, similar to Yiga Schematics.[3]
