Seafood Curries are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Seafood Curries can be made by Cooking Goron Spice, Hylian Rice, and either a Hearty Blueshell Snail, Armored Porgy, or Mighty Porgy in a Cooking Pot. The default version can be made by using two types of Seafood with differing effects. Eating these Meals will heal some of Link's Hearts to his Life Gauge. Though this dish is filled with a lot of Seafood, the intensity of the Goron Spice makes it unsuitable for children.[1]

Depending on the type of Seafood used, three different variations of Seafood Curry exist:

  • Hearty Seafood Curry:[3] Made by using Hearty Blueshell Snails. When eaten, they will heal of Link's Hearts and temporarily increase his maximum Hearts.[3]
  • Mighty Seafood Curry:[4] Made by using Mighty Porgies. By eating them, Link will receive a boost to his attack power.[4]
  • Tough Seafood Curry:[5] Made by using Armored Porgies. Link can eat these curries to have his defensive abilities be increased.[5]

Tears of the Kingdom

Seafood Curries can be made by Cooking either type of Porgy with Hylian Rice and Goron Spice.
