Entrance to the Shrine

Shee Venath Shrine sits on a ledge underneath the peak of the northern Dueling Peak. As Link enters the Ancient Shrine, he is greeted by its Monk, Shee Venath.[2]

Themes and Navigation

Shee Venath Shrine is linked to Shee Vaneer Shrine, which is located on the southern Dueling Peak. Inside both Ancient Shrines are 5×5 grids of Concave Slots and five Ancient Orbs, all of which are already placed in Slots. To reach the Monk's Pedestal, Link must lift the Ancient Orbs and place them into the Slots corresponding to Shee Vaneer Shrine.[3] An elevator and viewing platform enable Link to get an aerial view of the layout of the Shrine.

The solution to the puzzle

The proper placements for Shee Venath Shrine are as follows:

  • In the second Concave Slot of the first row
  • In the fourth Slot of the second row
  • In the first Slot of the third row
  • In the third Slot of the fourth row
  • In the fifth Slot of the fifth row

After Link places the Ancient Orbs in the proper Concave Slots, the portcullis leading to the Monk's Pedestal rises. When Link approaches Shee Venath, the Monk gives him a Spirit Orb as a reward for completing the Trial.[4] Afterward, Shee Venath wishes Link well before fading away.[5]
