"Shocking Fear" is a Quest in Age of Calamity.[1]
Overview
The "Shocking Fear" Quest becomes available to improve Sheikah Runes after the "Akkala Tower" Scenario has been completed. Ancient Technology researchers wish to develop improvements for the Magnesis Sheikah Rune, but they need Electricity-resistant Materials to protect them while they do so.[2] Once they receive the Materials, the researchers will continue their work, resulting in an upgrade to Magnesis.[3] As a result, the time between uses of Magnesis will be decreased.[4]
Finishing "Shocking Fear" is needed to complete the Quests "The Hope of Gerudo" and "The Hope of All Hyrule".
